Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Coordinator to join our management team at our Euclid Manufacturing plant in Detroit, MI.

The Quality Coordinator performs various tasks in support of the Plant’s ISO/TS 16949 Quality Management System [QMS] and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System [EMS] maintenance and affectivity.


  • Work with all associates to develop and implement ISO/TS [QMS] and ISO [EMS] ready procedures and other necessary documentation.
  • Coordinate audits, internal, process, LPA, etc.…as assigned and/or scheduled.
  • Conduct internal Quality and Environmental based audits to assess and measure readiness.
  • Prepare reports and analyze progress for presentation to management on Systems compliance.
  • Coordinate and manage follow-up audit reviews.
  • Collect and analyze data and documents that are relevant and sufficient to determine drawings of conclusions regarding the QMS and EMS.
  • Maintain full awareness of utilization of MQ1/DTS data management system.
  • Prepare Quality Operating Systems (QOS) metrics reports.
  • Participates as resource in web based data systems (customer and L&W).
  • Performs training in QMS, EMS, MQ1, etc….as needed.
  • Understands, supports, and implements the company Quality Policy and procedures into daily work habits.
  • Understand, support and implement continuous improvement skills into daily work habits.
  • Able and willing to work any shift assigned.
  • Maintains a high level of confidentiality in all duties.
  • Participates in continuous improvement activities.


Job Requirements

Education and/or Experience:

High school Diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education or experience.

Proficient computer skills in Word, Excel, Power Point, and data entry.

At least 1 year in automotive manufacturing environment.
