Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Technician on 2nd shift at our Holland, MI manufacturing plant.

Responsible for installation, maintenance and repairs of machinery, equipment, facilities and electrical systems in a stamping and welded assembly plant.


  • Ability to troubleshoot various types of machinery in the fields of pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanical, and electrical.
  • Ability to modify robot programming as it relates to the welding process.
  • Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.
  • Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
  • Repairs automated machinery and equipment such as robots.
  • Listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction.
  • Discusses machine operation variations with supervisors, operators, or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine.
  • Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment.
  • Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment.
  • Sets up and operates machine tools such as lathe, grinder, drill, and milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs, fixtures, and tools.
  • Operates cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
  • Fabricates and repairs tables, benches, racks and other metal structures.
  • Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
  • Operates in safe manner at all times, following outlined safety policies and procedures and ensures the safety of the equipment and machinery

Job Requirements

  • 3 plus years in a similar maintenance/machine repair role
  • Associates degree or journeyman status a plus
  • Must have experience in metal stamping presses
  • Electrical knowledge
  • Knowledge of Allen Bradley PLCs and Ladder Logic
  • Automotive Tier1 supplier experience
  • Stamping experience needed
